Privacy Policy

Effective 16 August 2026

PingGrapher collects nothing. There are no accounts, no telemetry, no analytics, and no third-party services in the app. Everything it measures stays on your Mac.

What the app stores

PingGrapher keeps a small amount of data on your Mac so it can do its job across launches:

All of it lives inside the app's own sandbox container on your Mac. None of it is transmitted anywhere, and no one but you can read it.

Network connections

PingGrapher is a network monitor, so it does make network connections — but only ever to the hosts you explicitly ask it to check. It sends ICMP echo requests, TCP connection attempts, or HTTP(S) requests to those destinations and measures how long they take to respond.

The app contacts no servers of its own. It has no update service, no license check, no crash reporter, and no backend of any kind. If you monitor nothing, it talks to nothing.

What we do not do

Deleting your data

Removing a target deletes its recorded history. To remove everything, delete the app and its container at ~/Library/Containers/com.sixdoes.PingGrapher. Nothing is retained elsewhere, because nothing was sent elsewhere.

This website

pinggrapher.com sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and has no forms or sign-ups. Standard server logs may record requests, including IP addresses, as is normal for any web server.

The site loads its typeface from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests files from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com, and Google receives those requests. That is the only third party involved in visiting this site, and it is not involved in the app at all.

Children

PingGrapher is a network diagnostic tool intended for general audiences. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new effective date. Because the app collects no data, substantive changes are unlikely.
